Hansen graduated as Montana Tech's all-time rushing leader with 4,486 career yards, surpassing Don Heater's 43-year-old mark. A workhorse back and cornerstone of the 2012 Frontier Conference championship and NAIA tournament team, the Ekalaka product paired volume with efficiency and big-game production, including a program-record five rushing touchdowns in a single game.

He earned multiple All-Frontier honors across his career and capped his tenure with Tech's Ed Simonich Award as the top senior football player in 2014.
