Helena – The Montana Tech volleyball team stays winless in the Frontier Conference after being swept by Carroll College Wednesday night. The Saints finished the Lady Diggers off in three games 23-25, 25-27, and 18-25.
Montana Tech falls to (0-4) in conference play and hasn't won in their last four matches. It might have been five matches except their game against Lewis-Clark State College was suspended in the third game due to a power outage. Montana Tech was down 2-0 in that match. Carroll improved to (3-1) in conference play and are a half game behind MSU Northern.
Shersteen Cline put in a solid performance with eleven kills and seven digs. Leading the Lady Diggers in kills, Cline had a 0.261 hitting efficiency. Allyse Cruise led Tech with 14 digs and Kristin King was right behind with 12.
Montana Tech continues their road trip tonight in Billings against the Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears.
