HELENA – Diggers volleyball battled the Saints in Helena Wednesday night, but fell short 3-1 losing 25-20, 21-25, 29-31, 20-25.

Montana Tech (16-10, 6-7) loses their second straight and second conference match to Carroll.

Carroll College (14-17, 6-7) evens up with Tech in the standings.

Montana Tech outhit the Saints at the net in kills 57-46, but errors were in the Orediggers favor 31-25.

Sydney Norris led the Diggers with 15 kills and added 17 digs.

Freshman Jordan Danz had 13 kills and just one error hitting for .545.

Kimmy Kavran had 21 digs in the match.

Tech is on the road again this Friday when they travel to Billings to take on the Battlin' Bears.
