Warriors Outhit Diggers

BUTTE – The Lewis-Clark State Warriors used strong hitting to take down the Lady Diggers 3-1 Saturday afternoon. The final scores were 25-23, 25-17, 24-26, 25-18.

Montana Tech (13-7, 3-4) loses their second straight of the weekend.

Lewis-Clark (12-9, 6-1) gets back to winning after losing their first conference match to Rocky last weekend.

The Warriors outhit the Orediggers 47-34 and completed more kills hitting .147 to Tech's .023.

Sydney Norris led the Diggers with 10 kills and hitting .188 in the match. She also had nine digs in the match.

Haley Druyvestein had eight kills and hit for .200 in the match. She totaled five blocks as well.

Niurka Toribio led the Warriors with 16 kills while hitting .300 for the day.

Montana Tech is on the road next weekend to Dickinson, North Dakota taking on the winless Dickinson State Blue Hawks.
