Lewiston, Idaho – Montana Tech opened the Frontier Conference season on the road Friday night. The Lady Diggers fall to Lewis-Clark State in four sets 26-24, 25-23, 19-25, 25-21.
Montana Tech (10-4, 0-1) drops the first conference match of the season.
Lewis-Clark (7-8, 1-0) picks up their second straight win and first conference victory.
The Orediggers played the Warriors close each set, but were out hit 55-38 while posting a better hitting percentage .101 to LC's .088.

Korey Krumm led the Diggers with 10 kills, 2 errors and a 0.348 hitting percentage.
Transfer
Annie Smoot had eight kills and six errors.
Kimmy Kavran posted 25 digs in the match.
Trenisha Doyle led the Warriors with 15 kills, seven errors and a 0.229 hitting percentage.
The Lady Diggers are at Dillon next week facing the UM-Western Bulldogs on Thursday.
