Tech Tops Skylights, 3-1

Sophomore Jordan Danz had a career-high 16 kills
Box Score HAVRE, Mont. – The Montana Tech volleyball team defeated Montana State Northern, 3-1 (25-17, 20-25, 25-18, 25-13) Saturday night. With the win, Tech improves to 9-12 overall, 4-5 Frontier while the Skylights fall to 5-17 overall, 1-8 Frontier.

The Lady Diggers were led by Jordan Danz who had a career-high 16 kills and Makenzie Bauck chipped in with a career-high 48 assists on the night.

Outside hitter Dayna Jensen had a team-high 13 kills for the Skylights.

Tech hit .356 percent on the night thanks to Korey Krumm who registered a .529 hitting percentage with 11 kills. Libero Kimmy Kavran returned and registered a match-high 19 digs. Junior Sydney Norris had a balanced night for the Diggers tallying nine kills and 10 digs.

Next up for the Diggers are the Lewis-Clark State Warriors. Tech will travel to Lewiston, Idaho on Saturday October 25th for the 3 p.m. MST matchup.
