Diggers Roll No. 18 College of Idaho

Box Score BUTTE, Mont. – The Montana Tech Orediggers bounced back against No. 18 College of Idaho Saturday taking down the Yotes in four 25-17, 22-25, 25-18, 25-21.

The Orediggers improve to 2-1 at the Big Sky Volleyball Challenge and 5-6 on the season.

Stellar hitting by the Orediggers highlighted the victory. The Tech team posted 64 kills in the match and a team hitting percentage of .405. Four Orediggers reached double-digit kills.

Bailie Cortner led the way again for the Diggers tallying a career high 18 kills and just two errors. She had a .432 hitting percentage for the match. The sophomore has led the team in kills in each match of the tournament.

Haley Druyvestein had 11 kills while Korey Krumm and Sydney Norris each chipped in 10.

Kimmy Kavran totaled 25 digs in the match.

Kylie Porter led the Yotes with 15 kills while hitting .464 in the match.

The Orediggers face No. 8 Biola tonight at 7 p.m. at the HPER Complex.
