COSTA MESA, Calif. – Montana Tech swept Vanguard for the second time this season 25-21, 25-20, 25-21.

The Orediggers (14-7, 3-3) won their fifth straight match.

Jordan Danz led the team with 10 kills hitting .233 in the afternoon match. She also led both teams in digs with 14.

Bailie Cortner and Katie Wiley had six kills apiece. Cortner want errorless on the attack hitting .545.

Jessica Chase led Vanguard with nine kills.

SAN DIMAS, Calif. – Montana Tech swept their second match of the day defeating Life Pacific College 25-15, 25-13, 25-11.

The Orediggers (15-7, 3-3) finished a perfect 4-0 on their California road trip and increased their win streak to six.

Bailie Cortner and Gena McMillan had 10 kills each. Cortner hit .474 in the match and McMillan had no errors hitting .500.

Heather Thompson had a season high eight kills.

Tech continued a solid serving offense with 11 aces led by Hannah Liss with five. Jordan Danz added three.

Sabrina Hopcroft led the defense with 13 digs.

Montana Tech return to the HPER Complex next Saturday when they host Lewis-Clark State College at 2 p.m.
