Box Score BUTTE, Mont. – Rocky Mountain College held on in a five set thriller ending Montana Tech's eight game winning streak 25-18, 18-25, 13-25, 25-21, 15-9.

The Orediggers (17-8, 5-4) seemed to be rolling after dropping the first set winning back-to-back sets. Tech had 34 kills and just four errors in the second and third
sets. Rocky battled back in the fourth and could not be stopped in the fifth.

The Bears had just 46 kills to 68 by the Orediggers. Tech had 27 attack errors and 14 service.

Jordan Danz led both teams with 18 kills hitting .333 in the match. She also had 11 digs and four blocks on defense.

Bailie Cortner hit .394 finishing with 16 kills and seven blocks.

Nicole Peacock and Gena McMillan were also in double-digits for the Diggers with 12 and 10 kills.

Sabrina Hopcroft led both squads in digs with 23.

Makenzie Bauck had 55 assists and 10 digs.

Rocky had just one hit double-digit kills with Kylie Hadley reaching 15.

Montana Tech is home again tomorrow night when they host Montana Western.
