Box Score Great Falls—Montana Tech cruised through the first round of the Frontier Conference Volleyball Tournament defeating L-C State in straight sets.

Montana Tech made quick work of the Warriors 25-15, 25-10, 25-16. The Orediggers hit a whopping .346 and held L-C State to a negative hitting percentage (-.104).

Jordan Danz and Katie Wiley combined for 22 kills and 10 digs in the victory for Montana Tech. Wiley had 11 kills on 14 swings.

"Katie really played well for us tonight. She was really effective getting so many kills on just 14 attacks." Said Coach Brian Solomon.

Bailie Cortner led the Diggers with three blocks and Makenzie Bauck dished up 28 assists for Montana Tech.

The Diggers will return to action tomorrow afternoon in the semi-finals of the Frontier Conference Tournament. Montana Tech will play the highest remaining seed in that match.
