Box Score LA MIRADA, Calif. – The Orediggers opened the 2016 with a victory over RV The Masters at the Biola Summer Slam today. Tech swept the Mustangs 25-21, 25-22, 25-21.

Montana Tech hit .267 as a team and posted 12 blocks to four by The Masters.

Senior Bailie Cortner led the attach posting 10 kills and no errors in the match. She hit a staggering .769 and added five block assists to her totals.

Freshman Gena McMillan debuted in her home state of California with nine kills hitting for .412 in her first match as an Oredigger.

Junior transfer Nicole Peacock had eight kills.

Freshman libero Sabrina Hopcroft led the defense with nine digs and had four aces in the match.

Aubrey Pyburn led the Mustangs with nine kills.
