Box Score LA MIRADA, Calif. – No. 16 Westmont College handed Montana Tech their first loss of the season on day two at the Biola Summer Slam. Westmont swept Tech 25-21, 25-20, 25-21.

The Orediggers (2-1) trailed the entire match. Westmont (3-0) outhit Tech 44-35 and led in digs 51-41.

Taylor Beckman and Jessica McCann had double-digit kills for Westmont with 14 and 10.

Bailie Cortner led the Diggers with 10 kills hitting .533 in the match.

Nicole Peacock and Gena McMillan had eight kills each.

The Orediggers face No. 24 Northwestern (Iowa) for their final game in California at 5 p.m. MST.
