Box Score BUTTE, Mont. – No. 11 College of Idaho handed Montana Tech a tough loss on day two of the Big Sky Volleyball Challenge in five sets 18-25, 21-25, 25-23, 25-22, 15-12.

The Orediggers (5-2) built confident leads in the first two sets, but the Yotes fought back in the final three. The Yotes outhit the Orediggers 42-35 in the final three sets and 63-56 in the match.

Brenna Meehan had a monster game for College of Idaho registering 21 kills on 45 attacks. She hit .356 in the match and helped her cause on defense with 15 digs.

Senior middle blocker Bailie Cortner posted a double-double with 15 kills and 11 total blocks. Cortner had just three errors hitting for .375.

The Orediggers had 24 total blocks in the match.  

Jordan Danz had 14 kills and 12 digs. Katie Wiley also hit double-digits with 10 kills hitting .450.

Montana Tech plays their final match of the weekend against Corban (Ore.) this afternoon.
