Box Score LEWISTON, Idaho – Montana Tech could not find a foot hold at Lewis-Clark State Friday night falling in three sets 25-21, 25-20, 25-23.
The Orediggers (9-5, 0-2) drop their second straight match and are winless in the young Frontier Conference schedule.
After dropping the first two sets, the Orediggers seemed to have a handle over the Warriors (5-4, 1-0) leading 17-11 in the third. Lewis-Clark State rattled off a string of points and tied the set at 18 before finishing off Tech.
Montana Tech led in kills 44-36 but had 13 service errors.
Bailie Cortner shined leading both squads with 16 kills hitting .480 in the match. The senior had five blocks.
Jordan Danz and
Gena McMillan had eight and seven kills. Danz also had six blocks.
Kennadie Clute led the Warriors with 12 kills.
Montana Tech is on the road again next week. The Orediggers travel to Dillon to take on the Montana Western Bulldogs on Thursday.
