BILLINGS, Mont. – Montana Tech volleyball outhit Rocky Mountain but struggled with errors falling in four sets 25-23, 18-25, 25-17, 25-23.

The Orediggers (10-6, 1-3) led the match in kills 57-48 but also led in attack errors 28-15. Tech didn't help their cause with ten service errors and 11 blocking.

Senior middle hitter Bailie Cortner had a match high 16 kills and Katie Wiley had 15. Wiley hit .433 in the match.

Rocky's Savannah Smith was the only Bear in double-digit kills with 13.  

Makenzie Bauck had 51 assists for the Diggers.

Sabrina Hopcroft had a match high 24 digs.

The Orediggers return home next week hosting Montana State Northern on Thursday at the HPER Complex.
