BUTTE, Mont. - The Orediggers controlled three out of four sets and got back to winning defeating MSU-Northern 25-17, 25-17, 26-28, 25-16.
Montana Tech (10-7, 2-3) was led by
Jordan Danz and
Bailie Cortner who tallied 14 and 12 kills respectively. Cortner led the Diggers with a .400 hitting percentage while Danz added 10 digs.
The Orediggers outhit Northern 55-40 and had a .225 hitting percentage. Â Â
Montana Tech had 18 kills in the first set.
The Diggers won the first and second sets before dropping a thrilling third set 28-26.
Montana Tech rebounded to take the fourth set 25-16 and the match.
Mackenzie Bauck tallied a match-high 43 assists and 12 digs.
Tech registered nine total team blocks in the match.
The Diggers travel to Great Falls next Friday to take on the University of Great Falls Argos at the McLaughlin Center.
