Box Score BELLEVUE, Neb. – Montana Tech snapped a two-game skid and picked up their first win at the Bruin Labor Day Classic against Saint Francis 25-15, 25-22, 25-21.
Montana Tech jumped out quickly easily taking the first set. The Orediggers had to battle back early in the second set but had no trouble finishing Saint Francis off.
The Orediggers (7-3) had three hitters in double-figures and outhit Saint Francis (3-4) 49-37 in the match.
The Diggers hit .358 as a team.
Jordan Danz and
Gena McMillan had 12 kills each. Dana hit .500 and McMillan completed on .346 of her attacks.
Nicole Peacock had 11 kills hitting .333.
Mackenzie Bauck had 32 assists and seven digs.
Alyssa Bridleman led Saint Francis with nine kills and two blocks.
The Oreddigers have two more matches this weekend. Tech faces Peru State and Oklahoma City.
