Box Score HELENA, Mont.- No. 15 Montana Tech volleyball team defeated University of Providence 3-1 in the Frontier Conference semifinals early Saturday afternoon at the Carroll College PE Center.  

The Diggers (21-8) won the match 25-23, 25-15, 18-25, 25-11. Montana Tech hit for .239 as a team and received double-digit kills by Masha Korol and Angela Molesworth who had 15 and 13 kills apiece.

Nicole Peacock led the way defensively with 19 digs while Genavieve McMillan and Sabrina Hopcroft each added 14.

The Diggers had eight services aces in the contest and advance to the Frontier Conference Tournament Championship match tonight at 7 p.m.

The Diggers will face Rocky Mountain College tonight in the Championship after the Bears defeated Carroll 3-1 in the other semifinal.
