Hope Ends Diggers Streak

Box Score FULLERTON, Calif. – In their fourth match in two days, No. 14 Montana Tech struggled against the host school Hope International falling in three sets 25-21, 25-21, 25-13.

Hope led the attack by just two kills 34-32 but the Orediggers posted 17 attack errors in the match. The Lions had 11 aces over the Diggers and added nine blocks.

Masha Korol led Tech with 9 kills as not Orediggers reached the double-digit mark. The Ukranian had a team high .318 hitting percentage.

Angela Molesworth posted seven kills and a .318 hitting percentage.

Sabrina Hopcroft finished the match with 16 digs.

Katie Landazuri and Camryn Rowell totaled 25 kills for the Lions.

The Orediggers finish their first road trip of the season with a 3-1 record. The Big Sky Volleyball Challenge in Butte is up next. The Civic Center hosts the two-day tournament starting August 25.
