BUTTE, Mont.- The Montana Tech Volleyball team defeated Montana Western in straight sets on Wednesday night at Kelvin Sampson Court, 3-0.
The Orediggers (21-6) hit for a whopping .446 in the match including sets of .517 and .519 to open up the evening. The Orediggers finished the night with 48 kills and just 9 attack errors.
Montana Tech's
Maureen Jessop registered 16 kills while
Heather Thompson and
Gena McMillan each had 9.
McKenna Kaelber had 41 assists while
Sabrina Hopcroft had 10 digs.
The Orediggers tallied seven aces in the match.Â
The victory is Montana Tech's 18th consecutive against the Bulldogs. The Orediggers improve to 7-1 at Kelvin Sampson Court.
Montana Tech hosts No. 16 Rocky Mountain College on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Kelvin Sampson Court.
