Diggers Stumble Against Lewis-Clark State

Lewiston, Idaho- The No. 16 Orediggers lost a tough match to Lewis-Clark State in four sets on Saturday afternoon, 3-1. 

The Diggers (16-4, 4-2 Conf.) outhit the Warriors at the net hitting a .186 clip on offense while L-C State hit for just .163. Montana Tech only tallied 37 kills while the Warriors had 51. 

Maureen Jessie led the Diggers with 14 kills while Brooke Kaawa led the way for L-C with 17. 

The Diggers take on Bellevue (Neb.) in the Grand View Tournament on Friday afternoon.
