Bellevue, Neb. - Montana Tech's volleyball team got back to their winning ways on Friday night as they defeated McPherson College 25-18, 25-15, 26-24 in the GoSarpy.com Labor Day Tournament. 

The Orediggers hit for a whopping .277 on the evening including a season-best .519 clip in the second set. Montana Tech had 47 kills compared to just 25 for McPherson College. 

Gena McMillan (12), Karina Mickelson (9), and Maureen Jessop (9) led the team in kills. McKenna Kaelber recorded a tournament-high 37 assists while Sabrina Hopcroft tallied 14 digs. 

The Diggers improve to 9-2 on the season and play on Saturday at 10 A.M. when they play College of the Ozarks (MO.).
