BUTTE, Mont.- The No. 18 ranked Montana Tech volleyball team defeated MSU-Northern in straight sets to cap off Hall of Fame Weekend on Saturday, 25-20, 25-9, 25-16.

The Orediggers (14-2, 2-0 Conf.) hit for a combined .344 at the net on the evening and a whopping .393 in the final set. Montana Tech doubled up the Lights notching 42 kills to the Lights 21.

The Diggers were led in kills by a balanced attack of Gena McMillan (10), Sydney Parks (9), and Maureen Jessop (9). Montana Tech also tallied eight aces in the match.

Sabrina Hopcroft led the way defensively with 19 digs while McKenna Kaelber added 30 assists.

Montana Tech heads to Dillon to take on Montana Western on Thursday September 26th at 7 p.m.
