Box Score BILLINGS, Mont. – Rocky Mountain College handed Montana Tech their first conference loss snapping their seven match winning streak Saturday night 25-20, 25-17, 25-23.

The loss is the first for the Orediggers (14-3, 3-1) since August.

Poor hitting plagued the Orediggers as the team posted and .087 hitting percentage and committed 24 hitting errors. The Bears had just 11 hitting errors and finished with a .217 hitting percentage.

Junior Gena McMillan led the Orediggers with 12 kills and hit .226 in the match. Maureen Jessop had 11 kills.

Heather Thompson had 8 kills.

Sabrina Hopcroft had 19 digs.  

Monique Rodriguez led Rocky with 10 kills while hitting .450.

Montana Tech returns to Butte next week when they host Carroll College Wednesday on Kelvin Sampson Court.
