KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) named Montana Tech's Becca Richtman the National Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

The national award is the second for Richtman this season and third in the last two years.

Richtman, a senior from Ellburn, Illinois, placed third out of 121 runners at the Inland Empire Championship in Lewiston, Idaho with a time of 17:17 in the 5k. Richtman was nine second behind the first place finisher and was the fastest NAIA runner in the field by 34 seconds.

The Frontier Conference Championship is next for the Orediggers. The race is held in Dillon, Montana hosted by Montana Western on November 5^th.
