Box Score BILLINGS, Mont. – Montana Tech won the first two sets, but Rocky Mountain changed the momentum in the third frame to get the home victory over 21-25, 18-25, 25-1725-16, 25-12.
Tech dominated the first two sets with very few hitting errors. The Orediggers hit .196 in set one and .261 in the second.
The Orediggers (13-5, 1-2) outhit the Bears (9-11, 2-1 60-50 in the match. But the Orediggers committed too many errors. Tech finished with 34 hitting errors to 26 by the Bears and had 13 service errors in the match.
Both squads blocked well with the Orediggers finishing with 15.5 team Rocky had 16.
Olivia Muir led thew Oredigger attack with 17 kills and a .153 hitting percentage.
Maureen Jessop had 16 kills and a .233 hitting percentage.

Karina Mickelson had 12 kills.
Sydney Parks and
Taylor Henley combined for 13 kills but also produced 10 hitting errors.
McKenna Kaelber had season high 52 assists.
Sarah Hopcroft had 33 digs.
Kyra Oakland led the Bears with 12 kills and a .159 hitting percentage.
The Orediggers are on the road on Wednesday with match slated for Montana Western. The Orediggers return home Saturday and play host to MSU Northern.
