The No. 17 Diggers defeated Peru State in straight sets (25-9, 25-14, 25-17) to improve to 7-1 before falling in four sets to Concordia University of Nebraska in four sets (26-28, 25-19, 25-17, 25-22).
The Orediggers hit for a .408 clip at the net in the win over Peru State while
Maureen Jessop and
Olivia Muir tallied 8 kills apiece.
Taylor Henley added 7 kills on 9 total attacks.
McKenna Kaelber led the way with 26 assists while
Sarah Hopcroft picked up 17 digs.
Montana Tech held Peru State to a .000 clip at the net.
In their second match of the day, the Diggers lost to No. 6 Concordia University of Nebraska.
The Orediggers hit for a .196 mark at the net and Concordia Nebraska hit for a .215 clip.
