Box Score 3 BELLEVUE, Neb. – The No. 14 Montana Tech volleyball was at the Bellevue Invitational over the weekend and went 1-2 at the annual Labor Day tournament in Nebraska.
Tech lost their first two matches on Friday. The Orediggers (5-5) went to five sets against (RV) Columbia International University falling 25-27, 25-16, 27-29, 25-23, 11-15.
Maureen Jessop had 21 kills and four blocks.
Taylor Henley finished with 11 kills and 10 blocks.
Olivia Muir had 12 kills.
The Orediggers were swept by No. 17 Dakota Wesleyan 25-14, 25-17, 25-22 on Friday evening.
Olivia Muir led the Orediggers with 12 kills.
Tech finished the weekend with a sweep over Ottawa University (Ariz.). The Orediggers hit for .233 and Jessop led the team with eight kills and four blocks. Henley had seven kills and nine blocks.
The Orediggers travel to Havre next weekend for the Frontier/North Star Crossover.
