Box Score Bellevue, Neb.- Montana Tech wins their first game at the Marvel Invitational 3-0 over Grand View University (25-14, 25-20, 25-19).

The 10th-ranked team in the country looked the part, as the Orediggers (16-3, 4-1 Conf.) were dominant at the net. Montana Tech hit .367 as a team and tallied 41 kills over the three sets. Senior Outside Hitter Olivia Muir led the charge with 12 total kills while hitting .409. Maureen Jessop finished with eight kills, and Megan Benton finished with three kills on five swings.

The 'middle' for the Orediggers was particularly strong. Taylor Henley finished with nine kills on 14 attempts, hitting .429, and was credited with one block. Olivia Labeau had five kills while hitting .556, and she finished with six total blocks in the three-set match.

The Orediggers also had seven aces in the match, Mayson Moore and Emmy Green each getting two, Jablanov, Hopcroft, and Layton each with one.

Grand View was led by Heleine Filipe, with eight kills on 15 attempts. Sydney Beastly was next with six kills, hitting .444 for the match.
