Box Score The Orediggers wrap up the Frontier Conference Preseason Tournament, by sweeping the Saints of Carroll College 3-0. (27-25, 25-18,25-19)
Montana Tech finished the final day of the tournament the same way they started it, with a win. The Orediggers went a perfect 4-0 over three days in Dillon.
Over the three sets, Montana Tech tallied 42 kills, hitting .152 as a team. Carroll's put up 25 kills, hitting .008.
Montana Tech was paced by Senior
Olivia Muir with 13 kills over the three sets. Olivia is credited with 42 total attacks, and a hitting percentage of .190. Olivia Labeau, coming off a great day yesterday, finished with nine kills on 16 attempts for an incredible .438 hitting percentage.
Maureen Jessop carded seven kills, and
Taylor Henley got five.
Freshman setter
Rhys Layton closed out a great weekend with 35 assists for the Diggers on Saturday.
Lauren Heuiser led the Saints with six kills, Mara Lynch finished with five. Maddie Wilks chalked up eight assists for Carroll.
After going 4-0 over the weekend, the No. 11 Orediggers improved their overall record to 11-2. Their next match is scheduled for Friday night in Great Falls, as they take on the Argos of the University of Providence. That game will be the start of Frontier Conference play.
The Orediggers next home match will be Friday, Sept. 29
th when they host the Skylights of MSU-Northern.
