BUTTE -- Montana Tech's cross country program and head coach Jacob Sundberg are excited to announce the Orediggers' 2025 meet schedule. 

The Montana Tech men and women will compete in five regular-season meets this fall, beginning with Montana State's Bobcat Twilight Friday, August 29 in Bozeman. Both teams will then head to Missoula Friday, September 19 for the University of Montana Invite. 

On Friday, October 3, the Oredigger men head south to Pocatello, Idaho for the Idaho State Invite, and the women will compete the following week, Saturday, October 11 at Lewis-Clark State's Inland Empire Challenge. Both teams will send contingents to Billings Friday, October 10 for the Frontier Conference Preview. 

The teams will travel together again Friday, October 24 to Grand Rapids, Mich. at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge, hosted by Aquinas College as a final tune-up for postseason races. 

The Orediggers will then race for the Frontier Conference championships Friday, November 7 at Amend Park in Billings with the hopes of qualifying for the NAIA national meet, which will take place Friday, November 21 in Tallahassee, Fla. 

Montana Tech's women are coming off a banner 2024 season, literally. The Orediggers hoisted the Frontier Conference championship trophy for the first time in program history last year and continued on to nationals, where they placed 21st. Tech's men ran to third at the conference meet and sent a pair of student-athletes, Derek Schultz and Ben Zerr, to nationals.
