Biography
High School: A standout tennis player at Valor Christian High School, Jimmy chose Montana Tech to pursue his talents in math and science. He earned Academic All-Conference his sophomore year and attributes his good attitude as a strength in his game.
2015-16: Amundson averaged a 79.0 stroke average as a freshman for the Diggers and with a top finish of T-20.
2016-17: Amundson played 15 rounds for the Orediggers averaging 78.2 strokes per round. Amundson had a season-low round of 73 and helped teh Digger to a 2nd place finish in an event. His personal best at a tournament was a 9th place finish.
