Olson, a three-time all-state golfer for the Columbus Cougars finished runner-up at the Class B State Championships last spring to future teammate Colin Wade of Bigfork. Olson is a top contender for the Class B State Championships next week at Marias Valley Golf Course in Shelby. Olson's team won the State Championship in 2021 when he was a freshman and have taken home third place and second place trophies the last two seasons. Olson finished ninth as a freshman and fifth as a sophomore at the state tournament. Olson was a multi-sport athlete playing basketball for the Cougars.
Landon, the son of Scott and Marsha Olson, plans to major in Electrical Engineering.
