Biography
2019-20: Hobbs played nine rounds for the Orediggers in the COVID-19 shortened season. He had a 76.8 scoring average and helped the Orediggers win their first Frontier Conference tournament in 10+ years at the University of Providence Invitational. Hobbs helped the team earn a GCAA All-Academic Team President's Special Recognition Award.
High School: Hobbs was the 2018 Class A Runner-up after shooting rounds of 74-71 at Hamilton Golf Course. Hobbs was a three-time all-state selection for Polson High School. Hobbs has placed in the Top-10 of State Junior events twice, won the 2017 Polson Bay Men's Match Play Championship and the 2018 Polson Bay Men's Club Championship. Hobbs took home medalist honors at the 2017 Butte Central Invitational, the 2018 Missoula Invitational, and the 2018 Polson Invitational. Hobbs took home the Steve Schwartz Memorial Trophy at the 2019 Men's State Amateur for being the top junior finisher. Hobbs plans on majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
