2019-20: Hoagland played nine rounds for the Orediggers in the COVID-19 shortened season. Hoagland was a second team all-conference performer after posting a 74.6 scoring average and helped the Orediggers win their first Frontier Conference tournament in 10+ years at the University of Providence Invitational.Trey helped the team earn a GCAA All-Academic Team President's Special Recognition Award.

2018-19: Hoagland finished T-10th at the Frontier Conference Championship. Hoagland boasted a 75.4 scoring average for the Orediggers. 

2017-18: Hoagland played consistently for the Orediggers boasting a 75.3 scoring average and placing in the Top-10 in two events. Hoagland's low round was a 69 (-2) at the Carroll College Invite at Green Meadow Country Club. Hoagland T-5th at the Frontier Conference Championships. 

2016-17: Hoagland had a 78.7 scoring average as a freshman for the Diggers including a low round of 71 at Meadowlark Country Club in Great Falls. Hoagland helped the Diggers to a team best finish of 2nd place in an event. 

High School: Trey finished in the top 15 at the Montana State High School Tournament three straight years. His finishes include a top 10 appearance as a junior. The four time letter winner also plays basketball for Butte High lettering three years. Hoagland, who carries a 3.68 GPA, is a member of the National Honor Society and was named Academic All-State six times in all sports. He also played American Legion Baseball for the Butte Miners. 

Personal: Trey, the son of Missy and Hal, is pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. His sister Hailey was also an accomplished golfer and played for the University of Montana.
