Biography

2018: Started all 32 matches. Tallied 384 kills averaging 3.2 per set and a 0.244 hitting percentage. Ranked fourth in the conference in total kills and kills per set. Had double-digit kills in 21 matches. Career high 21 kills vs. College of Idaho (8/24/18). Had 79 total blocks. Recorded 38 services aces. Totaled 352 digs. Career high 20 digs vs. Providence (10/5/18). Selected first team all-conference.

2016-17: Did not play.
 
2015: Appeared in 25 matches tallying 145 kills averaging 1.99 per set and a 0.136 hitting percentage. Mickelson had double digit Totaled 35 blocks. Mickelson reached double-digit kills 7 times. Had a season high 14 kills vs. Carroll College (10/23). Selected to conference All-Freshman team.
 
High School: Three-year starter and two-year captain at Trabuco Hills High School. Led her team to a second-place finish in the conference and advanced to the second round of the state tournament. 

Also played for the Saddleback Valley Volleyball Club and has qualified for the Junior Olympics twice.
 
Personal: Karina, the daughter of  Linda and Eric and Barbara. She is pursuing a degree in Biology.
