Butte native David Starcevich joined his alma mater as Montana Tech's head men's and women's golf coach in August 2025.
A five-year member of the Orediggers' golf team from 2013-18, Starcevich was a two-time Academic All-Frontier Conference honoree and helped Montana Tech to a handful of tournament victories.
Starcevich has coached the golf team at Butte Central Catholic High School and serves on the Board of Directors at Butte Country Club. He works for the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow as a code enforcement officer.
He graduated from Montana Tech in 2018 with a degree in occupational safety and health.
