Sophomore center Kelsey DeWit played in two contests this past weekend. The Lady Diggers defeated the University of Great Falls on Friday night 68-65 in overtime. On Saturday night, the ‘Diggers fell to Montana State Northern in the final seconds 42-41.
Against Great Falls, DeWit almost completed a triple-double. She had 14 points, ten rebounds and nine blocks in the victory. In addition, she had four steals and a pair of assists.
On Saturday hosting Northern, DeWit netted ten points and grabbed four rebounds. She also had three blocks on the night.
On the weekend, DeWit averaged 12 points, seven rebounds, and six blocks. She shot 46-percent from the field and 2 of 3 from the free throw line.
