True freshman Mandy Machinal played in three basketball games last week. The Lady Diggers went (1-2) on a three game road trip.
Against Division I Boise State, Machinal had 12 points, two rebounds and two steals.
On Friday against Northwest Washington, Machinal netted 28 points, three rebounds, three steals and a block in the losing effort.
Saturday night was Machinal’s first start for the Lady Diggers. Against Evergreen State in Olympia, WA, Machinal had 19 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals. Machinal helped the Lady Diggers pick up the win defeating Evergreen 63-55 to end the road trip.
On the week, Machinal averaged 19.7 points, 3 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game. Machinal shot 40-percent from the field, 44-percent from three point range and 78-percent from the free throw line.
