Junior transfer Dan Simon is our Athlete of the Week. Simon, from Ephrata, Washington, played in two contests this past weekend. The Orediggers fell to the University of Great Falls Friday night 70-41. On Saturday, Tech defeated No. 13 Montana State Northern 55-63.

Against Great Falls, Simon had six points, three rebounds and a steal. He shot 3 of 8 from the field.

In the upset against Northern, Simon led the Orediggers with 18 points, 14 rebounds, two blocks and a pair of steals. On the night, Simon shot 4 of 9 from the field and 9 of 10 from the free throw line.
