Box Score Butte – Tech brought the Paine to Black Hills State Thursday night.

AJ Paine and
Cole Conway, Tech played aggressive defense and made it difficult for Black Hills State attempt quality shots. The Orediggers shot out of the gate and didn't look back as they defeated the Yellow Jackets 70-49 at Kelvin Sampson Court.
Black Hills State was 5 for 28 from the field in the first half and Tech took a 30-16 lead into half time.
Senior guard
AJ Paine led the attack with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals.
Dan Simon, a junior transfer new to Tech this season, was a strong force around the hoop. Simon had 11 points and 6 rebounds on the night.
Cole Conway, senior from Butte, led the Orediggers at the boards with 8 rebounds and added 4 points.
Montana Tech is home again on Sunday October 30
th when they will take on Dickinson State Blue Hawks in a double header with the Lady 'Diggers. The women tip off at 1 PM and the men at 3 PM at Kelvin Sampson Court.
