Box Score Nampa, ID – The Orediggers concluded their road trip to the south with a loss Monday night at Northwest Nazerene University 73-62.
The Orediggers fall to (3-2) overall and they went (1-2) on their road trip this past weekend to Idaho.
Taking a one point lead into the second half at 36-35, Tech fell behind after the Crusaders went on a 10-0 run in the second half. The Orediggers were able to bring it back to a tie at 56 with 4:48 to play, but stalled as the Crusaders went on to score 9 unanswered points.
Freshman forward
Adam Greger had the high point total for the 'Diggers with 19. The Florence native added 5 rebounds and was 7 for 7 from the free throw line.
Point guard
Tyree Haynie had 10 points on the night and was 2 for 2 from three point range. Haynie was also perfect from the line going 2 for 2.
Sophomore
Bryan Bock added 9 points from the bench and 5 rebounds. Bock also shot 3 for 3 from the free throw line and contributed to Tech hitting 85.7% from the line on the night.
JB Pillard was the standout for the Crusaders. Pillard had 23 points and 2 steals on the night. Guard Anthony Golden had 21 points and 4 rebounds.
The Orediggers are back in action over Thanksgiving when they travel to Willamette University in Salem, OR for the Capital City Tournament.
