Butte – It didn't take long as the Lady Digger volleyball team wins its third straight match and continues to climb the Frontier standings. The Diggers swept Dickinson State 25-15, 25-17, 25-18.
This was the final regular season home match and “Senior Night”. Prior to the match, the four seniors,

Kirstin King,
Shersteen Cline and
Lacey Phelan were honored for their time at Montana Tech.
The Lady Diggers (17-9, 7-7) sit in fifth place in the Frontier Conference after losses from Westminster and Rocky earlier today. Dickinson (3-19, 0-11) is still winless in conference play.
Posting another solid night at the net, the Diggers outhit Dickinson 48-19. As a team, the Diggers had a 0.226 hitting percentage. Dickinson had a 0.030 percentage on the night.
Sophomore
Korey Krumm led the Diggers with 19 kills on the night with only two errors. She hit for 0.654, her second best hitting percentage of the season. Earlier in the season and against Dickinson, Krumm hit for 0.667.
Sydney Norris had 12 kills in the match and six digs.
Cline had 10 kills in the “Senior Night” match.
Kimmy Kavran continues to add to her record setting season total with 25 digs in the match. She now has 695 digs on the season.
Montana Tech is on the road in Dillon on Thursday night when they take on the UM-Western Bulldogs at 7 PM.
