Box Score Butte-In a physical match at Kelvin Sampson Court, the Lady Diggers finished off the Great Falls Argos in overtime 68-65.
Great Falls drops to 1-7 in conference play. Tech moves up to 4-6 in the Frontier.
Great Falls finished the game with a 15-4 run in the final five minutes of regulation to tie the game and 58-all and send it into overtime. The Argo would fall behind in the beginning of the extra period, but would get to within one point with a minute to go. Two critical traveling fouls by Great Falls in the final minute of overtime would be the demise to Great Falls' night.
Great Falls would shoot 29.6% from the field on the night having a difficulty under the basket and tough Tech defense. The Argos out rebounded Tech 56-35.
Sophomore
Kelsey DeWit fell just short of a triple-double. The center had 14 points, ten rebounds and nine blocks on the night. She also had four steals and a pair of assists.
Freshman
Mandy Machinal led the 'Diggers in scoring with 19 points.
Sophomore
Bryn Hasquet had 11 points, six rebounds and two assists.
Sarah Sciascia led the Argo with 21 points from the bench.
Center Kindra Jones was held to ten points. She grabbed nine rebounds.
Montana Tech is home again tomorrow night when they host MSU-Northern Lights at 5:30 pm at the HPER Complex.
