Box Score Orem, UT-The Montana Tech men battled Division I opponent Utah Valley State Monday night, but fell 60-70 in Orem. This was the first of two Division I exhibition games this week for the Orediggers.

Tech was only down by three points at the break shooting 40.6-percent from the field in the first half. On the night, Tech hit 42.4-percent from the field and 30-percent from beyond the arc. The Orediggers out rebounded the larger opponent 37-30.

Junior Dan Simon led the Oredigges with 13 points, five rebounds, four assists and a steal.

Senior Cole Conway had nine points, three rebounds and a blocked shot.

Montana Tech is in Logan, Utah on Wednesday night when they take on Utah State.
