Butte, MT – Two Oredigger football players were name Frontier Conference Players of the Week. Quarterback
Nick Baker was named Frontier Conference Offensive Player of the Week and
Travis Farewell was named Special Teams Player of the Week.
Baker, a 6'1” junior from Lake Stevens, Washington, had a solid performance on the road against UM-Western. Baker completed 33 of 38 passes for 274 yards and four touchdowns. Two of his four touchdown passes came in overtime. He also rushed for 26 yards on 17 carries and only threw one interception.
Farewell, a 6'1” sophomore from Tehechapi, California, punted six times for 266 yards including a 75 yard punt, his longest of the year. He averaged 44.3 yards per punt.
Montana Tech is on the road again this week. They travel to Billings to face the Rocky Mountain Battlin' Bears.
