Lewiston, ID— Hot shooting by Lewis-Clark State doomed Montana Tech who fell 105-60 to the Warriors.
Montana Tech would struggle on offense in the first half and Lewis-Clark State would not as the Orediggers spotted the Warriors a 20-51 halftime advantage.
The Orediggers shot 23.3 percent in the first half while the Warriors went 22 of 34 from the floor and hit 5 three pointers.
Montana Tech would finish the game shooting 33 percent from the floor and only hitting three of their 17 three point attempts.
The Orediggers were led on offense by
Bryan Bock who had 14 points and three rebounds.
Travis Peevey was the only other Digger in double figures; he finished the game with 10 points.
Lewis Clark-State shot 63 percent for the game and 60 percent from three point land. The Warriors were led on offense by Robert Ellis who had 21 points. Ellis was one of six Warriors to score in double figures.
Montana Tech drops to 6-5 overall and 0-1 in the Frontier Conference.
Lewis-Clark State College improves to 8-3 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
The Orediggers host Northwest Indian College Saturday at 7pm MST.
