BUTTE – Northwest Indian College fought until the end of the game, but the Orediggers took the lead late for a 96-90 win.
The teams traded the lead much of the first half with the Eagles taking a 47-45 lead into half time.
With just 4:18 left in the game, the score was tied at 82.
Brandon Rydberg hit two free throws taking an 84-82 lead. Tech led for the remaining minutes holding of the Eagles.
Adam Greger scored a season high 32 points while grabbing 11 boards for a double-double. He hit 12 of 22 from the field and 8 of 9 from the charity stripe.
Bryan Bock tallied a double-double as well with 22 points and 14 rebounds. He also had eight steals on the night.
Travis Peevey dropped 18 going 3 of 6 from beyond the arc.
Keegan McCarthy was the only other Digger in double figures scoring 11 off the bench. He added four rebounds to his totals.
Josh Nelson led the Eagles with 21 points and six rebounds.
The Orediggers gained a needed win after losing their last two. Tech has a 7-5 record on the year.
