Hot Shot Machinal— Mandy Machinal is fifth in the Frontier Conference and 11th in the nation in three point field goal percentage (52.4%). Machinal is tenth in the conference in points per game (13.4). The junior leads the team in assists per game (3.4) and steals per game (2.2).
 
Free Throw Success— Montana Tech is second in the Frontier Conference in free throw percentage shooting 73.3 percent from the charity stripe. The Lady Orediggers have three players who shoot 80 percent or better from the free throw line in Martha Dembek (100%), Kabri Emerson (92.3%), and Mandy Machinal (80%).
 
Shooting Frenzy— The Lady Orediggers lead the Frontier Conference in field goal percentage shooting 45 percent from the floor. Montana Tech has four players who shoot 50 percent or better in Sophia Baetz (75%), Kabri Emerson (75%), Kelsey DeWit (55%) , and Rachel Farris (50%).
 
Rebounding Problem— Montana Tech is last in the Frontier Conference in rebounds per game (30.4). The Lady Diggers have only 152 total rebounds this season and only three players average over 4 rebounds per game. Kelsey DeWit (5.2), Kabri Emerson (4.5), and Mandy Machinal (4.2) lead Montana Tech on the glass.
 
Baetz Can Ball— Sophia Baetz is playing well off the bench for Montana Tech averaging 5.6 points per game. The junior is shooting 75 percent from the field and 72 percent from three point land. Baetz is also averaging 1.2 rebounds for the Lady Orediggers.
 
Scoring Sputters— The Lady Orediggers are last in the Frontier Conference in scoring offense per game (60.2). Montana Tech was fourth in the conference last season in scoring  (63.07).
