Men's Hoops Fall to College of Idaho

Freshman John Chapman had a team-high nine points
Box Score LEWISTON, Idaho – The Orediggers fell to College of Idaho, 90-60 in the final game of the Clearwater River Casino & Lodge Saturday night. The lost drops Tech to 3-2 on the season while the Yotes remain unblemished at 7-0.

The Diggers shot 39.2 percent from the field and 58.3 percent from the charity stripe. C of I's beach scored 59 of their 90 points. The Yotes had 18 offensive rebounds for 16 second-chance points. The Yotes outrebounded the Diggers 50 to 30 for the game.

Freshman John Chapman had his best game in an Oredigger uniform with a team-high nine points. The Frenchtown, Mont. native also had two assists and two steals. Forward Paul Engstrom added seven points and seven rebounds while Keegan McCarthy and Trent Thompson chipped in with eight points each of the bench.

All 15 players on College of Idaho scored including Joey Nebeker and Emanuel Morgan with 11 points each.

Montana Tech returns to the Mining City for a two-game swing against Dickinson State Friday Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday against Cal Maritime Academy.
